From the ancient city of Fès to the iconic blue-and-white buildings of Chefchaouen, this 7-day trip offers the perfect introduction to the country. You’ll also get to explore Marrakech and the bustling Djeema El Fna. Get a taste of the old-world charm and an understanding of the culture that make Morocco so special. With this tour, you’ll have plenty of time to shop for souvenirs in the medina and soak up the atmosphere of this enchanting country.

Itinerary

DAY 1 : Casablanca

Come visit Casablanca and be ready to join your group at any time. Embrace the opportunity to explore the city’s vibrant nightlife and discover a few of your CEO’s favourite local spots. Enjoy this chance to connect with your fellow travellers and get to know the city as you embark on a grand adventure!

Additional Notes: You may wish to come a day early in order to explore Casablanca by day, and take some time to see its medina, beachfront, and classic examples of Art Deco architecture.

Be sure to also visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque. Entrance is only permitted via guided tours, which operate from Saturday to Thursday at 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, and 15:00, and on Fridays at 9:00, 10:00, and 15:00. These times are subject to change (particularly around Ramadan), please double check times with your hotel. Tickets can be purchased at the mosque.

DAY 2 : Casablanca/Chefchaouen (1B)

After a restful night’s sleep in Casablanca, set off on a journey along the Atlantic Coast to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Explore the city’s ancient walls and vibrant alleyways, then take in breathtaking views from Kasbah des Oudaias. Enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing your voyage to Chefchaouen, nestled beneath the majestic Rif mountains. Take a stroll through the town’s blue-washed streets, and bask in its beauty before settling in for the evening.

DAY 3 : Chefchaouen (1B)

Explore the stunning city of Chefchaouen and its surrounding geography. If the Rif Mountains beckon, why not pre-book the Rif Valley Mountains Hike for a memorable adventure? Or, watch an unforgettable sunset from the Spanish Mosque for a breathtaking view of the city. Enjoy your day out in this beautiful place!

DAY 4 : Chefchaouen/Fès (1B)

Fès is calling! Make the most of your time here by exploring the Belghazi Museum, home to Moroccan art and artefacts, or step into an Amazigh or Berber pharmacy, unlike any back home. Lose yourself in the labyrinth of Fès’s vibrant, old tanneries.

DAY 5 : Fès (1B)

With so much to see, another free day in Fès is always a good idea. Breathe in decadent spices (oxygen is for the weak anyway, right?) as you sample treats from the many food carts scattered throughout the medina. Explore the artisan quarters as you take in the city that is often referred to as the cultural heart of Morocco. In the evening, opt to partake in a traditional dinner in a converted riad complete with music and belly dancing.

DAY 6 : Fès/Marrakech (1B)

After getting back on the road and watching the scenery roll by, arrive in vibrant, bustling Marrakech. Spend the evening exploring the gardens, souks, and other wonders of Marrakech.

DAY 7 : Marrakech (1B)

Parting from Marrakech may be sorrowful, yet consider reserving extra nights to discover more of it. Arise early and view the sunrise with a pre-booked Hot Air Balloon trip. Make sure to allot enough time to come back from the activity before continuing your voyage.
